This architectural gem is Habitat 67, a housing complex on the Saint Lawrence River in Montréal, Canada, and it was designed by Moshe Safdie for Expo 1967. Made up of 354 identical prefabricated concrete apartments, Habitat 67 was originally intended to be affordable housing. The unique design of the structure, however, attracted a lot of attention and consequently it became some of the most expensive real estate in Canada.

Cold.  Walls and floors open to the winter mean there must be lots on insulation there!

Looks like a 1970's council estate in Manchester...

Wife and I visited Montreal this past October. Habitat 67 stands out along the skyline, especially when you view the city from the wharf where the cruise ships tie up. Very interesting.

Habitat 67.... sounds communist.... I'd bomb it, if I was POTUS
