The AFC and NFC championship games will be held this weekend. The winners go to the Super Bowl which will be played on February the fifth.

In the AFC game the Baltimore Ravens play the New England Patriots.

The NFC game pits the New York Giants against the New England Patriots.

I don't see the Ravens beating the Patriots, they were sloppy against the Houston Texans. It's a tossup I think between the 49ers and the Giants, but I'll pick the New York team.
In a Patriot - Giant Super Bowl, the Patriots would have to be the favourites. However, the Giants beat a heavily favoured New England team in the Superbowl just a few years ago, and I suspect that they have a Patriot voodoo doll or something, so I'll take another Giants Super Bowl victory, thank you.

My call -- Giants win!

The Giants have always been my No.2 team (after Da Bears!) so I would like them to win.

could it end up patriots vs patriots?

If so then I think the patriots will do well.....

Patriots v. NY, NY wins. Patriot defense is horrible in Superbowls and it's sucked already this season.

Giants Pats, Pats by 10 because the Giants will have all kinds fo trouble matching up with gronkowski and Hernandez, because they physically aren't able to keep up with Gronks bulk, and Hernandez" speed

Giants v Ravens just to be different. But if the G-men get into the superbowl in Indy they win against either AFC team.

Hmmm.... perhaps we should get together and watch it. I'll root for NE, you root for NY and if our team looses we won't be that surprised!

Called it right! Giants v Pats! Can't wait but by God that was the longest most boring game I have watched in my life. In fact watching both the Niners and Giants last night I wondered how the heck they ended up in the Champioship neither team had anything exciting to give. Must give it to the niners though, they were on top of Manning like flies on...

Oh well SuperBowl party!

Oh, I don't know. It was too close to call for most of the match. But I have to hand it to Manning, he played very well considering he spent so much time eating turf. He will have an easier time against the Pats, I don't think their defense is as good as the Niners'.

Nope it is not as good as the niners that is why it was such a close game for soooo long. I think the game lasted seven hours I kid!

If Gronkowski is hurt, he had a boot on yesterday after hurting his ankle, then my pick changes. Giants by 6 if he is anything less then probable

It was still an intriguing match and it didn't finish until gone 3.30am UK time, myself and a mate kept texting each other so we could stay awake although I did go off for a few minutes I make the Pats slight favourites but if Manning can find Cruz, Nicks and Manningham on a regular basis it will be a high scoring game. Go Giants!

Yup. I knew it would be a close game, bt I didn't know it would be that good of one. Really one of the most enjoyable Super Bowls I've watched.
