Hello everybody, sorry to come back like this. But, I was`wondering if anyone could help me locate a diagram for changing intake manifold gaskets on a 97 monte carlo with a 3.1 liter V6. Its our way to work and dont have the money to buy a` manual. So, any help at all would be appreciated. Hello again and thanks for anything you can do. Hope everybody is doing good.

for a start be careful with the nuts on the manifold, they usually rust up bad... wd40 the shit out of them the day before and again on the morning of the day you're doing the job, you really dont wanna be snapping any threads on the cylinder head, that's a royal pain in the arse to sort out....
as for the job, I'm sorry, I've never even seen a 97 monte carlo, with or without a 3.1 liter V6.

The library usually has repair manuals available, not likely to find them on-line.

Does the 3.1 have a plastic plenum?
If so are you changing upper or lower gasket?
Or Both?

These both seem to refer to the same engine:
