Every year, the world and its system have a day set aside (October 31st) to celebrate ungodly images and evil characters while Christians all over the world participate, hide or just stay quiet on Halloween day. Being a day that is widely acceptable to solicit and knock on doors, God inspired us to encourage Christians to use this day as an opportunity to spread the gospel. The days of hiding are over and we choose to take a stand for Jesus. “Evil prevails when good people do nothing”. JesusWeen is expected to become the most effective Christian outreach day ever and that is why we also call it” World Evangelism Day”.

* Preparing kids for greatness: Jesus is a loving friend of children. In the Bible he allowed them come to him and taught them in love and received them. No one in the Bible who was attached to God from childhood ever became a failure. Moses, Samuel, David, Solomon, Jeremiah, John and Jesus were men who dedicated themselves to demonstrating the love of God from childhood. All these men became great men who are still spoken of today in our generation. They became great men because they were raised in the path of greatness. They were busy for God from an early age and therefore did not miss their way. Train up a child in the way he should go, when he grows old, he shall not depart from it - (Proverbs 22:6)

* Fun experience for kids: The children coming out to give the bibles will do it with excitement. They will not feel deprived as they will be coming out like other kids to give the Word to people. They will definitely be received by families as it is just natural not to turn a child down. The children will understand from an early age that it is fun to give the Word.

* Teaching Kids to give: There is no age limit to represent Jesus or to be trained to give others gifts. By getting the children involved in JesusWeen, parents are teaching them that it is the right thing to do. The children understand from an early age that they are to show the love of Jesus to everybody and learn the greater joys of giving rather than receiving. It is also teaching them to be bold and courageous. It takes boldness to face a man and tell him about Jesus.

* Doing the word of God: But be you doers of the word and not hearers only (James 1:22). Jesus has asked us to preach the gospel. This is a golden opportunity for any man or woman to demonstrate the character of Jesus. It is a blessing to be able to say that I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. There is a depth in God a man will never know until he begins to share the gospel of Christ with others. Remember, reaching people is God’s number one business.

* Demonstration of faith: Whenever we stand to give out the presence of God and his word out of care and love, we draw closer to God. Jesus sees by that, and he honours our faith by causing a release of increased power, grace and revelation knowledge in our lives. It’s time for Christians to live up to the name Jesus calls us – Ambassadors of Christ and demonstrate the faith and love of God to a dying world.

* Opportunity for promotion: Jesus asked Peter and his men to cast their nets into the deep after they had allowed Jesus to use their boat to preach. They caught so many fishes that the nets broke. Jesus promotes anyone who would give of their time to do what he loves, which is to reach out to the lost. When the little boy gave of his fishes and bread, Jesus multiplied it and after he fed thousands, 12 baskets were left over and surely the young boy was rewarded. No man that gives would lack. With JesusWeen we are telling the world, there is a better way. The Giving way instead of the receiving way. After all it's called TRICK or TREAT. We are not tricking anyone but we are certainly treating them to the God Life, the Winning Life.t Jesus.

* This will definitely result in church growth: The Church ministry is a place where people can find hope and comfort. Many people do not have the courage to join a church for many reasons. They would be more than delighted and encouraged to know that God cares so much about them, and that God can reach them from wherever they are, through the church.

* This is an opportunity for the church itself to reach the lost: Jesus said "go ye into the world". He cares about the world in many ways. During Halloween people expect treats and the best treat is the truth. The beautiful thing about this is that we know that we are not alone. Jesus, in John 17 prayed for us and for those who will come to know him through us.

* It will result in Jesus Awareness and Presence: Through this means, the church is making its presence known. People will hear and have a better knowledge of the presence of God in their town and community; showing them that God is not a far away entity, He is right where they are and is ready to accept them without condemnation. For the knowledge of the glory of God will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Beneficial to the world

* It is a blessing to have the joy, the excitement, the beauty and the colors of JesusWeen in any community. We are demonstrating absolute love that transcends race, gender, orientation and any limitation of any sort. The days of being passive or of hiding are over, its time Christians, the world over, take a stand for Jesus. October 31st being a day that is widely acceptable to solicit and knock on doors, we are to use this day as an opportunity to spread the gospel. It is not age restricted and is definitely a life changing experience. Sure! Jesus is in town and JesusWeen says it: He always wins!!
