Just finished our taxes, our family made an adjusted income of less then $33K, and we are paying taxes this year. No life events, in fact sizable more medical bills, but yet I owe the govt money. So what happened to the "lower income" bracket not paying??? Never mind the fact that it is a $2800 swing this year from getting money abck to paying. Interesting.

so now we are getting back $400 instead of paying, but I dropped the income by more then 20K to get that to happen. (Taxable income guidelines for SSI taxable income)
