Empire Earth, also known as EE, is a real-time strategy computer game developed by Stainless Steel Studios and released on November 23, 2001. It is the first game in the Empire Earth series. It has been described as very similar to the Age of Empires series, and received positive reviews.

The game requires players to use citizens to collect resources and construct buildings and produce military units to conquer opposing civilizations. Empire Earth spans 500,000 years of world history, which is divided into 14 epochs, beginning with the prehistoric age, and ending with the nano age.

An expansion pack was developed by Mad Doc Software called Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest, which was released on September 17, 2002. It added new features such as a special power for each civilization, and a new 15th epoch, entitled the Space Age, which focuses on the colonization of space planets.

You need to create an account, but click on the download now linky and it will add the game to your "My Games". Click My Account, then click on the game and select "download with browser"

I wonder how well this game works over the innertubes. Back in the AOE2 days, 5 coworkers and myself would get a game going after work. a 3v3 or 2v2v2. The only problem is that games aren't usually less than 2-3 hours if players are evenly skilled.

One 1v1v1 game of EE I played went to a stalemate between 2 of us. Island map, with islands walled with towers and prophets laying down hurricanes. It was impossible to storm our islands.

need a no prophet rule. lol.

If you are on Windows 7 and have mouse issues, go into your systems mouse setup options under control panel, and turn off "Enhance mouse precision".

All the cheats for single player mode only..... type bold text into game field (click top right icon in game screen for type field)

Something to note for this game. Build settlements CLOSE to ore resources(like touching or 1 square away), then press "G"(i think) to garrison citizens in it. garrison 5 and it becomes a town centre where you can build more citizens, etc. Put in 10 more and it becomes a capital. The more you garrison, the higher the bonus you get when citizens drop off resources. (Youll see a green $ when they do).

Also, I have edited some maps if anyone wants them. I basically make the maps so you have 3 gold, 3 iron and 2 stone patches around your starting point. There will also be 3 pumpkin patches beside your starting capital. Makes for efficient resource gathering. Keep in mind, the AI also gets all these resources as well.
