The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals might be barking up the wrong mushroom.

On Monday, the controversial organization issued a press release attacking iconic Nintendo mascot Mario for wearing a 'Tanooki' suit in his latest adventure, the Nintendo 3DS game Super Mario 3D Land, which hit shelves on Sunday.

"Tanooki may be just a "suit" in Mario games, but by wearing the skin of an animal, Mario is sending the message that it's OK to wear fur," PETA says.

Also, the second in command of PETA is a diabetic. Had we not tested on animals(pigs in this case), they would not be alive today to contribute to PETA.

I agree that animals should not be cruelly treated, but there's a way of making a point, and there's a way of acting like spoilt brat arseholes... besisdes, anytime I see or hear the name PETA I think of one thing....

What the heck do you expect from a company so fucking stupid that they think that naked women demanding we don't use animals in any form or fashion would have any effect other than ramping up the use of animals so more models will get naked.

I live near the PETA world headquarters, and almost every day someone has either a Barbeque or Hot Dog portable stand setup on the sidewalk right in front of their entrance.
